Acceptance of Terms

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of the Tipanmi platform, including the website at tipanmi.com, any related mobile applications, and all services offered through them (collectively, the "Platform"). The Platform is operated by [COMPANY LEGAL NAME], a company registered in the Republic of the Philippines.

By accessing or using the Platform, you agree to be bound by these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Platform. We may update these Terms from time to time; continued use after notice of changes constitutes your acceptance of the revised Terms. These Terms were last updated on June 17, 2026.

About Tipanmi

Tipanmi is an online marketplace that connects clients in the Philippines with independent salons, barbershops, spas, pet-grooming studios, and other personal-care businesses ("Partner Businesses"). Tipanmi provides the technology to discover, browse, book, and pay for appointments — we do not ourselves provide the grooming, beauty, wellness, or other services listed on the Platform.

Each booking you make through Tipanmi creates a service contract directly between you and the relevant Partner Business. Tipanmi is not a party to that contract and is not responsible for the quality, availability, or outcome of any service performed by a Partner Business.

Eligibility

To use the Platform you must be at least 18 years old and capable of entering into a binding contract under Philippine law. If you are booking a service on behalf of a minor (for example, a child's grooming appointment), you confirm that you are the parent or legal guardian of that minor and accept these Terms on their behalf.

By using the Platform, you represent and warrant that all information you provide is accurate, current, and complete.

User Accounts

Certain features require you to register an account. You may sign up with your email address or via a supported social-login provider (Google, Facebook, or Apple). You are responsible for keeping your login credentials confidential and for all activity that occurs under your account.

Notify us immediately at support@tipanmi.com if you suspect unauthorised access to your account. We are not liable for losses arising from unauthorised use of your account that result from your failure to keep credentials secure.

Booking Appointments

When you complete a booking through the Platform, you are entering into an appointment agreement with the Partner Business you have selected. The booking is subject to the Partner Business's own policies on availability, staffing, service offerings, and pricing.

Tipanmi sends booking confirmations and reminders via SMS, Viber, or email on behalf of the Partner Business. Receipt of a confirmation from Tipanmi does not guarantee that the service will be performed — if the Partner Business cannot honour the appointment (for example, due to staff unavailability), they will contact you directly.

Some services require a patch test or prior consultation before the appointment. It is your responsibility to comply with any such requirements communicated by the Partner Business.

Deposits, Payments & Fees

Partner Businesses may require a deposit to confirm your booking. Deposit amounts and policies are set by each Partner Business and displayed to you before you complete checkout. All prices on the Platform are in Philippine pesos (₱).

Payments are processed through PayMongo, Inc. ("PayMongo"), a third-party payment processor licensed by the Bangko Sentral ng Pilipinas. Accepted payment methods include GCash, Maya, QR Ph, and select debit/credit cards. By providing your payment details, you authorise PayMongo to process the transaction on behalf of the Partner Business.

Tipanmi does not store your card numbers or e-wallet credentials. PayMongo's privacy policy and terms of service govern the handling of your payment information.

Cancellations, No-shows & Refunds

Cancellation and refund policies are set by each Partner Business and are disclosed at the time of booking. You are responsible for understanding and complying with the relevant policy before confirming a booking.

If you fail to appear for a confirmed appointment without cancelling in advance ("no-show"), the Partner Business may retain your deposit in full in accordance with their policy. Tipanmi is not responsible for forfeited deposits arising from no-shows.

Refund disputes must be raised directly with the Partner Business in the first instance. If you cannot resolve a dispute with the Partner Business, you may contact us at support@tipanmi.com and we will make reasonable efforts to facilitate a resolution, but we do not guarantee any particular outcome.

Walk-in Queues

Some Partner Businesses offer a digital walk-in queue through the Platform. Joining a walk-in queue does not guarantee service; it provides an estimated waiting position that may change as other customers arrive or leave. No deposit is charged for walk-in queue entries unless you subsequently convert to a confirmed appointment.

Communications & Notifications

By creating an account or completing a booking, you consent to receive transactional messages relating to your bookings via SMS (through Semaphore), Viber, Facebook Messenger, and email (through Resend). These messages include booking confirmations, reminders, and status updates.

You may opt out of marketing communications at any time through your account settings. Opting out of marketing messages does not affect transactional notifications directly related to a confirmed booking.

Acceptable Use

When using the Platform, you agree not to:

  • Provide false, misleading, or fraudulent information when registering or booking.
  • Use the Platform to harass, threaten, or abuse Partner Businesses, their staff, or other users.
  • Attempt to gain unauthorised access to any part of the Platform or its underlying systems.
  • Use automated tools (bots, scrapers, crawlers) to access the Platform without our prior written consent.
  • Post or transmit content that is defamatory, obscene, infringing, or otherwise unlawful.
  • Interfere with the normal operation of the Platform or its infrastructure.
  • Use the Platform for any purpose that violates applicable Philippine law.

Reviews & User Content

You may be invited to leave a review of a Partner Business after your appointment. Reviews must be based on your genuine experience and must not contain false statements, personal attacks, or content that violates applicable law.

By submitting a review or any other content to the Platform, you grant Tipanmi a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive licence to display, reproduce, and distribute that content in connection with the Platform. You retain ownership of your content.

Tipanmi reserves the right to remove any review or other content that violates these Terms or that we reasonably believe could expose Tipanmi or a third party to legal liability.

Intellectual Property

All rights in the Platform — including its design, software, trademarks, logos, and content created by Tipanmi — are owned by or licensed to [COMPANY LEGAL NAME]. Nothing in these Terms grants you any licence to use those rights except as necessary to use the Platform for its intended purposes.

Third-party Services

The Platform integrates with third-party services to deliver its functionality, including:

  • PayMongo — payment processing (GCash, Maya, QR Ph, cards).
  • Semaphore — SMS notifications.
  • Viber and Facebook Messenger — messaging and booking notifications.
  • Resend — transactional email delivery.
  • Cloudflare R2 — media and file storage.

Each of these services is governed by its own terms and privacy policy. Your use of the Platform constitutes your acknowledgement that interactions with those services are also subject to the relevant third-party terms.

Disclaimers

The Platform is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that the Platform will be uninterrupted, error-free, or free of harmful components.

Tipanmi makes no representations about the quality, safety, reliability, or suitability of any service offered by a Partner Business. Partner Businesses are independently operated; Tipanmi does not vet, endorse, or guarantee their services.

Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by Philippine law, Tipanmi and its officers, directors, employees, and affiliates shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising out of or related to your use of the Platform or any service booked through it.

Our total liability to you for any claim arising from these Terms or your use of the Platform shall not exceed the total amount of deposits you paid through the Platform in the twelve (12) months preceding the claim.

Indemnification

You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Tipanmi and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents from and against any claims, losses, damages, costs, and expenses (including reasonable legal fees) arising from: (a) your use of the Platform in violation of these Terms; (b) any content you submit to the Platform; or (c) your violation of any applicable law or third-party rights.

Suspension & Termination

Tipanmi may suspend or terminate your account at any time, without prior notice, if we believe you have violated these Terms or pose a risk to the Platform, other users, or Partner Businesses.

You may delete your account at any time through your account settings or by contacting us at support@tipanmi.com. Deletion of your account does not affect any booking obligations or deposits already processed.

Changes to These Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. For material changes, we will provide at least 30 days' notice by email or by posting a notice on the Platform. Your continued use of the Platform after the effective date of revised Terms constitutes your acceptance of those changes.

Governing Law & Disputes

These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of the Philippines. Any dispute arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall first be subject to good-faith negotiation between the parties. If unresolved within 30 days, disputes shall be submitted to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of [VENUE CITY], Philippines.
