Data Deletion

Overview

When you use Tipanmi with a Facebook, Google, or Apple account, we store certain personal information to provide our services — including your name, email address, profile picture, social-login linkage, booking history, and notification preferences.

You can request deletion of your personal data at any time. This page explains the options available to you. If you have any questions, contact us at privacy@tipanmi.com. This page was last updated on June 17, 2026.

Option 1 — Delete Your Account In-App

The fastest way to delete all of your Tipanmi data is to delete your account directly from the app or website. This permanently removes your profile, social-login linkage (including Facebook), active sessions, and all personal information associated with your Tipanmi account.

  • Sign in to Tipanmi at tipanmi.com
  • Go to Account → Settings
  • Scroll to the bottom and tap "Delete account"
  • Confirm the deletion — this action cannot be undone

Your account and associated personal data will be deleted immediately. Note that Partner Businesses (salons, barbershops, etc.) you have booked with may retain their own records of bookings for legal or business purposes — Tipanmi does not control those records.

Option 2 — Disconnect Facebook or Google Only

If you only want to remove the Facebook or Google connection without deleting your entire Tipanmi account, you can unlink a social-login provider from your account settings.

  • Sign in to Tipanmi at tipanmi.com
  • Go to Account → Settings
  • Under "Connected accounts", tap "Disconnect" next to Facebook or Google

Disconnecting a provider removes your social-login linkage and any stored tokens for that provider. Your Tipanmi account itself is retained. You can still sign in with email and password if you have set one, or reconnect the provider later.

Option 3 — Request Deletion by Email

If you cannot access your account or prefer to submit a written request, email us at privacy@tipanmi.com from the address associated with your Tipanmi account (or the email linked to your Facebook account).

  • Send an email to privacy@tipanmi.com
  • Subject line: "Data Deletion Request"
  • Include your full name and the email address linked to your account
  • We will action your request within 30 days and send a confirmation

What Gets Deleted

When your Tipanmi account is deleted, the following data is permanently removed:

  • Your name, email address, and profile picture
  • Social-login linkage and access tokens (Facebook, Google, Apple)
  • Your active sessions and authentication credentials
  • Your notification preferences and favorites
  • Your Tipanmi loyalty points and wallet balance

The following data may be retained by Partner Businesses or as required by law:

  • Booking and transaction records held by Partner Businesses for their own records
  • Any data we are required to retain under Philippine law (e.g. tax, audit obligations)
